At the international art fair Swab 2013, I presented the series Sicalíptico Animals at the Galería Contrast booth. This series combines humor, provocation, and visual experimentation, exploring the interaction between the playful and the transgressive within contemporary artistic language.
At the same time, I exhibited the work La Muerte, paseándose por el Cementerio Recoleta (Death Strolling Through Recoleta Cemetery), a sculpture made with paint, wood, sand, and a USB containing the entire photographic series created in Recoleta Cemetery, one of the most emblematic cemeteries in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This piece establishes a dialogue between the tangible and the digital, the memorial and the creative, creating an immersive experience that invites the viewer to interact with the work and explore the photographic narrative documenting this iconic urban space.
Due to its innovative and creative nature, La Muerte, paseándose por el Cementerio Recoleta was also exhibited at the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) as part of an event dedicated to new technologies, highlighting its relevance within contemporary artistic research.
