Trishula Tattoo

I carried out several tattoo photography and video production projects for Trishula Tattoo, the studio of Agustín Cavalieri, one of the most influential tattoo artists in the world within the traditional Japanese style (Irezumi).

The project focused on documenting both finished pieces and working processes, capturing the technical precision, composition, and symbolic depth that define Cavalieri’s work. Through photography and video, the aim was to translate into visual language the intensity, rhythm, and dedication inherent in Japanese tattooing, while respecting its tradition and aesthetic values.

The images and audiovisual pieces seek to reflect not only the final result on the skin, but also the atmosphere of the studio, the bond between artist and client, and the ritual nature of the process.

Realicé diversos trabajos de fotografía de tatuaje y producción de vídeo para Trishula Tattoo, el estudio de Agustín Cavalieri, uno de los tatuadores más influyentes a nivel internacional dentro del estilo japonés tradicional (Irezumi).

El proyecto se centró en documentar tanto piezas terminadas como procesos de trabajo, capturando la precisión técnica, la composición y la profundidad simbólica que caracterizan la obra de Cavalieri. A través de la fotografía y el vídeo, el objetivo fue trasladar al lenguaje visual la intensidad, el ritmo y la dedicación que implica el tatuaje japonés, respetando su tradición y su carga estética.

Las imágenes y piezas audiovisuales buscan reflejar no solo el resultado final sobre la piel, sino también la atmósfera del estudio, el vínculo entre artista y cliente y el carácter ritual del proceso.
